Helping Sort Through the Good and Baaaaaaad
I needed to buy 2 Sony TRV38 camcorders quickly (3 days) because I was leaving the country, and I needed them to give to my relatives as gifts. However, I didn't want to pay retail prices for them. Consequently, I did a lot of research using shopper.cnet.com, dealtime.com, mysimon.com, and pricegrabber.com. I almost purchased the cameras using GAZMA.com, however I decided that it would be prudent to read some reviews about this website before I gave them my money. After reading several reviews, I closed my online transaction window because too many people commented negatively. I couldn't risk ordering from them because I did not have the luxury of time to deal with any problems with my order. Finally, I found PCrush.com. Although there were many other Internet retailers that offered cheaper quotes , I decided to purchase from a California based internet retailer rather than the ones in New York. I am glad to say that I made the right decision. Their customer service was excellent. The best customer service that I have experienced online (better than Amazon, ecost.com, buy.com). I was able to track my order online through their website. I was also given a FEDEX tracking # as well. So I was able to track my order while it was being shipped. They promptly responded to my emails and phone calls about my order. This service reassured me that I was dealing with a quality organization. They may not be the cheapest on every item, but I will definitely refer to them as my 1st option when I consider buying more electronic or computer stuff. Definite 2 thumbs up.
