I can't honestly remember where I saw the add for dryer balls, which are better for the environment since they are supposed to do the same thing that dryer sheets do except are reusable. But I followed the link and was taken to Gaiam.com.

I was immediately impressed by their theme of greener products. They have some category links along the top of the page such as yoga, apparel, and fitness. There is also a search box by keyword or item number. If you search for dryer ball it takes you right to them. However if I search for dyer balls (without the r) it wasn't helpful at all in finding what I wanted.

Once at the product there is a description and a price, there are also customer ratings and reviews. And this particular product had a customer favorite seal on it.

They have an online registry option and it would have been easy to add it to my registry but I just added it to my shopping cart.

After I added the item to my cart I could put in my state to estimate shipping costs as well as enter any coupon codes I had. I did have a coupon code I was able to use for 15% off.

Shipping options were standard (usps), fedex ground, and fedex air. The prices for shipping my item were $5.99, $10.99, and $14.99 respectively. I chose the standard shipping.

You do have to create an account to complete a sale. I did that and completed my sale. They take credit card of accept paypal too. At checkup you have the option to make a donation to The Conservation Fund, who started the world’s first carbon neutral shipping program. I declined.

Shortly after placing my order I received an email confirmation. Four days after that the money was taken out of my paypal account and the day following that I got a email saying my order had been shipped, however it did not provide tracking info. My packaged arrived two days later.

It was well packaged and as described. There was a parking slip and that's pretty much it.

It was a simple smooth transaction. The site is really very pretty overall. I liked what I saw on it. I liked the other products they carried, though they seem a bit on the pricier side. I had no problems at all with my order, though it could have been shipped a bit sooner, but would definitely place an order again if they right product caught my fancy.
